One of my goals for the STORIA journal is to celebrate the love stories and customizations created with clients. To start the series, I am sharing my love story and the customizations surrounding my wedding this past September.
On September 10, 2022, Joey and I stood under sunset inspired florals with the sea and our loved ones by our sides as we read our vows to one another and started our journey as husband and wife. From watching the sun shine over Shelter Island to dancing under the harvest moon, we will never forget the feeling of this day.
The inspiration for our wedding signage was the environment of the East End of Long Island. We wanted to use the natural color palette, combined with mixed texture and watercolor elements. Throughout each piece of signage, we added meaningful and personal details. Our goal was to mix classic elements with cheeky surprises that represented us. Even if we were the only people who noticed the ‘Easter eggs”, it was so special to know the details were there throughout the day.
